Finished

The coating corresponds to the application for protection on the surface of the wood. This protection, seal the table and does not allow wood discard moisture, therefore it is extremely important that the product to varnish, is dry according to the use and moisture required in the place of installation.

Depending on use and type of varnish used, for a perfect varnished Lumber must be three to five hands in floors, baseboards and other types of moldings and furniture.

The process of vitrified floors is a special coating, which gives greater resistance properties of traffic and potential exposures to liquids and that may affect the integrity of natural wood.

Primed

The primer is performed with Sikkens HLS products, Sikkens Sikkens Filter 7 and Deck, depending on the application required.

Its normal application is three hands, which can be applied in the factory, or two hands can be applied at the factory and the other in construction or apply the three hands in the work. It depends on the product being applied and opportunity respect to conditions of work.

In the case of beams for exterior use, apply three coats of Sikkens HLS in the work, or two at the factory and the final hand in the work.

In the case of finished products such as doors, windows, moldings and other high elaboration, factory-applied one coat of Sikkens HLS base primer, one coat of Sikkens Filter 7 and of fine termination and the third hand is applied in once that the product is installed.

In the case of Deck applies a hand of Sikkens HLS with a hand of Sikkens Deck at the factory. The third coat is applied once the deck is installed.

When the deck is protected with Sikkens Sadolin oil, is applied first hand in the factory and second hand in work after installing the Deck

The application of these products is simple, since it uses a brush or Huaipe (the stud). This allows the maintenance by the customer to be easy, because all the customer has to do is clean the surface to apply one or two hans of the  product depending on the degree of deterioration of wood.
